Public Relations, Public Affairs, Social Media & Marketing
nfrastructure, headquartered in Clifton Park, NY, is a technology solutions provider for large enterprises serving the Tech Valley Region and North America. Since 1992, nfrastructure has consistently delivered sustainable value to many of the world’s most admired brands in banking, retail, healthcare, high-tech, government, higher education, communications and energy.
The multi-million dollar company projected steep growth and engaged Baker Public Relations in 2010 to boost its brand awareness and relevancy in the local business community, create buzz, open valuable, new doors with potential clients and strengthen public/private partnerships.
Baker Public Relations developed and executed a comprehensive communications plan that included message development, internal communications initiatives, media relations, collateral development, video production, advertising buys, graphic design, social media strategy, event coordination and management, marketing, executive media training, new product and program launches, crisis communications, e-mail marketing and speech writing.
During our nearly four year engagement with the company, nfrastructure grew revenue by 37-percent and increased its staff from 140 full-time employees to nearly 250. Also, due to our efforts, nfrastructure made the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing companies in the country. In 2011, The Business Review named nfrastructure Company of the Year and was honored with the American Cancer Society’s Beacon of Hope Award for its contributions and selfless dedication to the community.
Also in 2011, Baker PR helped nfrastructure brand and launch nfrastructure Center of Competency in Information Technology (NCCIT). NCCIT is a public-private partnership created to meet the application and technology demands of New York State and local government, SUNY and other higher education institutions, K-12, and healthcare. NCCIT helps align information technology in support of enterprise strategy to create the capacity for innovation. NCCIT fosters collaboration among students, faculty and industry to spur high-tech economic opportunity statewide through job creation, workforce training, and an IT-supplier network.
As part of New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s shared services strategy, NCCIT was selected by The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (SUNY RF) to provide IT optimization. Baker PR played a crucial role in assisting nfrastructure with the integration of SUNY RF information services (IS) personnel (nearly 35 staff members) into nfrastructure’s corporate culture as part of this plan. A strategic internal and external communications plan was fully implemented.
Additionally, in a nine month period, Baker PR secured more than 3,200 views on nfrastructure’s YouTube channel with the production of 24 videos highlighting the company’s services and capabilities.
Furthermore, we secured media placements such as the front page of the Albany Business Review, Times Union, The Saratogian, Saratoga Today, Daily Gazette, The Ballston Journal, Utica Dispatch Observer, WNYT, Time Warner Cable News), FOX23 News, WTEN, Crain’s New York Business, VMBlog.com and more.
