The New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO) has retained Baker Public Relations for project-based work over the last few years. Baker Public Relations used its diverse skill set to meet the diverse and changing needs of the organization.
In 2016, Baker Public Relations was first retained to help with outreach efforts on the ImmuNYze Campaign. Our team conducted outreach to dozens of organizations and agencies in the fields of healthcare and medicine and helped those organizations utilize the ImmuNYze marketing materials. We also advised NYSACHO on social media and public relations efforts with the ImmuNYze campaign.
In 2017, NYSACHO re-engaged our agency to assist with the creation of a 22-page triennial report that illustrated the work NYSACHO had done over the past three years. The report encompassed articles, photos, infographics and financial information. Baker Public Relations worked with the NYSACHO staff to compile all relevant information and design the report by the set deadline.
In late 2018, NYSACHO retained Baker Public Relations again to assist on its efforts to raise awareness of Tick-Borne Diseases in New York. The scope of the project changed several times during its execution and our team assisted NYSACHO with their partnership with various Cornell Cooperative Extension offices on different events held throughout the state providing on-site logistics, media relations and Facebook Live services, all with a very short turnaround time.
Baker Public Relations also assisted NYSACHO with branding and supplying 7,000 “Tick Kits” for distribution. Our ability to be agile and responsive has proven to be a major asset for NYSACHO.
