Leah’s keen eye for creativity and way with words makes her a key member of the Baker Public Relations team. Leah joined the communications agency in September 2019.
She spent her previous years at Spectrum News in Albany as a Producer and Internship Program Coordinator. While in news, Leah helped launch “Your Morning Albany,” bringing Capital Region viewers a new start to their weekday mornings.
Prior to her initial job in news, she spent her university years studying Journalism at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications. There, she led the student-run television station’s news team to place in the College Associated Press Awards. She also held internships at “NBC Nightly News” and “CNY Central” to name a few.
Leah’s background of news allows her to provide our clients a unique perspective with media relations, media production, and content writing. Her position requires her to develop engaging, on-brand content while creating written text that works hand-in-hand with visual concepts.
Leah grew up in Ilion, New York and moved to the Capital Region after graduation. She lives here with her significant other and has family in the area. On her time off, she loves spending time with her family and friends, whether that means getting outdoors or having weekend gatherings.
