Have you heard a saying or question that brought back memories of a certain time or place? What if someone asked you a question regarding being thankful? Most minds would flash back to the scene of sitting around the festively decorated Thanksgiving dinner table. Usually, those words would come from a distant relative a dozen seats down the table.

As many shift holiday celebrations to be more intimate because of safety recommendationduring the COVID-19 pandemic, you may not hear a lot of answers to that question.

Therefore, we thought our Baker Public Relations team would share our responses, even though it’s not over filled plate of Thanksgiving dinner. We just wanted to share positive thoughts with you and yours.

I’m most thankful for my kids, family, health, co-workers and friends. I have a greater appreciation for nature, self-care and our freedom. I’m also looking forward to traveling again freely.

I’m thankful for my husband, Thomas, who does everything he can to make my life easier. As a mother of 3 who is still very much focused on my career, I’m so thankful I have a partner who takes equal responsibility, when it comes to taking care of our home and family.

I’ve always been thankful for my family and friends, but since the pandemic hit, I’m even more grateful to have them in my life. This time together has been trying, but it’s also brought us closer together and made us stronger, too. I have a solid support system and I don’t take that for granted. I’m also thankful for my health, and Schitt’s Creek.

I’m grateful to everyone who has helped us manage and try to get beyond the challenges of the pandemic. That includes doctors, nurses, scientists, government officials, first responders, essential workers, teachers and everyone else who strives to keep us safe. I’ll never forget the incredible work they’ve done to keep as many of us as possible out of harm’s way.

I am thankful for the joy of adding Lucy to our family in June. It has been a bright ray of sunshine.

Leah Rostohar
This year has put a lot of things into perspective. First and foremost, I am thankful for my continued health and the health of my loved ones. Secondly, I am thankful for all of those on the frontlines, working long hours during the pandemic

Lastly to lighten this response up, I am thankful for the laughter and happiness with friends and family via Facetime, and the new shows/movies launched on Netflix each month for continued entertainment during quarantine

Grace D’Errico
I’m thankful for my friends and family and their health. I am also thankful for the opportunity to work in the field that I love with incredible clients!

Haley Moffatt
In this chaotic year, I must first and foremost be thankful for mine and my family’s continued good health. Beyond that, I’m incredibly grateful to have the absolute sweetest dogs who always make me happier. Finally, having such a great and close-knit group of friends to always chat with (and have some occasional Zoom happy hours with during the quarantine), makes me feel incredibly lucky. Here’s to a healthy holiday season and even better 2021!

Andrea Leo
I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with such a talented team!

What are you thankful for? Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving, from all of us at Baker Public Relations.
