Megan Baker - President & CEO

Baker Public Relations clients benefit from Megan's celebrity as well as her expertise. Before transitioning to communications executive and entrepreneur, Megan enjoyed a highly-visible, 10-year career in television news, most recently serving as evening anchor on Capital News 9, Time-Warner's Albany-based 24-hour news channel. This helped Megan establish a broad network of media, political and community contacts and has provided her with access to key decision makers and news personalities. Additionally, Megan was instrumental in helping launch Capital News 9 and making it the successful news station it is today.

Today, Megan combines her journalism experience and contacts with a mastery of public relations techniques to provide incomparable client results that consistently exceed expectations. In addition to organizing and running successful client events during her tenure as Assistant Vice President at an Albany public relations firm, Megan was instrumental in integrating video and new media into client-based initiatives and produced dynamic video materials for select clients.

Megan also specializes in developing and leading media training programs for high level CEOs and executives, using her skills honed as a reporter to prepare clients for live events and aggressive media questioning. Megan's accolades include a New York State Emmy Award for her work as host/co-producer of "Exterior Designs," a half-hour special that aired on Capital News 9 and TW3. Megan serves on the board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Capital Region chapter and the Saratoga Planning Committee for the Seton Health Foundation 2008 Summer Gala. Her community service efforts included volunteering with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and working closely with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

In founding Baker Public Relations, Megan saw an opportunity to bring her various skills and interests under one roof, better allowing clients to benefit from her experience, contacts and know how.

Megan resides in Albany and is married with five children including identical twin girls, a son and two step-daughters. Outside of family and the office, Megan enjoys horseback riding, excersing, reading and catching up with her friends.
 
Dana C. Flint - Senior Account Executive

Baker Public Relations clients benefit from Dana's diverse, professional experience. Before joining Baker Public Relations, Dana spent 14 years as a public relations and marketing professional with a credit union. Prior to that, for over ten years she was a marketing and advertising officer at a large, local commercial bank. These opportunities helped Dana establish a well-rounded background in media advertising, marketing collateral development, and publication development (annual reports, newsletters, magazines, etc.).

Additionally, Dana has in-depth experience in writing/editing, event planning, strategic media placement and relationship building, website content management, and public relations campaign development and execution.

Today, Dana combines those talents and skill sets with her creative abilities to help provide incomparable results to Baker Public Relations clients. With a unique ability to understand varying marketing perceptions and differences, she captures product and media messaging that help provide optimal results for clients.

Dana holds dual B.S. degrees in Economics and Business Management both from Russell Sage College. She also served on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Banking (AIB) as Vice President of Marketing and received the organization's Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys teaching piano to children and making jewelry.
